Realme GT 5G (aka Realme Race) will feature 65W fast charging support, 3C listing reveals

Realme GT 5G (aka Realme Race) will be unveiled by the brand on March 4th but ahead of the official unveiling, the phone has now been spotted on China’s 3C website. The listing reveals that the upcoming handset from Realme will feature 65W fast-charging support. While the 65W fast charging technology from Realme, presumably SuperDart Charging, is an impressive feature in itself, the leaks earlier suggested that the Realme GT 5G could come with up to 125W fast charging support. If this was one of the primary reasons why you were waiting for the Realme GT, this might be a bummer for you but if we go by the earlier leaks, the handset could have impressive hardware on offer across the board.

Thanks to the teasers and the TENAA listing, we
have a fair idea about the Realme GT’s design,
which looks inspired by, as you might have
already guessed by the phone’s name, a sports
car. According to the company’s VP, Realme GT
features an “endurance and speed aesthetic
design. The phone will come with a rectangular
camera module with three camera sensors at
the back. As the phone’s name has been
trademarked in India as well, you can expect the
handset to land in India soon after its global
launch on March 4th.

Realme GT 5G specifications (expected)

The only confirmed specification for Realme GT 5G from the horse’s mouth itself is that the phone will ship with Snapdragon 888 chipset. If we go by the earlier leaks, the upcoming flagship from Realme could feature an AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout design. As far as the battery capacity is concerned, the Realme GT 5G is expected to pack a 5,000mAh cell, and as we mentioned earlier the phone will come with 65W fast charging support. The Realme GT 5G is expected to offer a 64MP triple-lens setup at the back and up to 12GB RAM. As we approach the launch, we would likely get more details about the phone, so stay tuned in.
