Today, Realme announced the Realme GT 5G has its first flagship phone of the year. The company had been teasing the handset with its ‘Race’ codename since December. The major highlights of the Realme GT 5G include Snapdragon 888 chipset, a 120Hz refresh rate display, LPDDR5 RAM, 64MP triple cameras, and impressive design. It has arrived in China with a starting price of 2,899 Yuan (Rs.32591.22). With this pricing, the Realme GT 5G will be rivaling with the Redmi K40 Pro smartphone, which carries the same starting price.

The Realme GT 5G is fueled by the Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. It ships with 8 GB / 12 GB of LPDDDR5 RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It lacks support for external storage. The handset comes pre-installed with Android 11 OS and Realme UI 2.0. There is a dedicated GT mode that offers leapfrog performance while gaming with enhanced image quality, 4D in-game vibrations, faster loading times, dynamic sound effects, and more. The smartphone is fitted with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio certified dual speakers.
For heat dissipation, the Realme GT features a 3D tempered liquid cooling technology that can effectively reduce the phone’s temperature by up to 15℃ while gaming. The phone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery. It takes around 35 minutes for the phone to charge completely through its 65W fast charging technology.
