iQOO 7 series will launch in India in April, the brand has officially confirmed this via a teaser on Twitter. This is in line with an earlier tip that suggested the flagship phone will release in the country later this month. Unfortunately, iQOO is yet to reveal the iQOO 7 series launch date in India. The company recently confirmed that it will bring the BMW M Motorsport edition to India, which will be called the iQOO 7 Legend. In addition to the iQOO 7 Legend, we expect to see the regular iQOO 7 that comes with a traditional glass back design.
iQOO 7 series set to launch in India this month
The short teaser video only reveals officially that the iQOO 7 will launch in India later this month. The exact launch date is yet to be announced. The iQOO 7 series will include the iQOO 7 Legend, which is essentially the BMW M Motorsport edition. There are also rumours about the iQOO Neo 5 smartphone launching in India as the phone has received the BIS certification. The iQOO Neo 5 may launch alongside the iQOO 7 or it may get a separate event next month.
iQOO 7 Specifications
The iQOO 7 smartphone was launched by iQOO in China back in January. iQOO is expected to launch in the standard iQOO 7 model along with the iQOO 7 Legend smartphone (BMW M Motorsport edition) in India. The iQOO 7 BMW M Motorsport edition features the three colour stripe on the white back panel. The device is expected to offer the same specs as that of the standard model. If we have a recap of the specs of the iQOO 7, it sports a 6.62-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and HDR10+ support. Powering the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 SoC which is paired with Adreno 660 GPU.
The smartphone packs 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. On the software front, the device runs Android 11 out of the box. In terms of optics, the iQOO 7 sports a triple-camera setup that consists of a 48MP primary main camera, and two 13MP sensors. At the front, the device houses a 16MP camera. The whole package is fueled by a 4000mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging.
