Realme RMX3081 is Realme 8 Pro, Indonesia Telecom certification confirms ahead of launch in India


Realme presented its 108MP camera solution to the world earlier this month. Now, the company is gearing up to unveil its first smartphone with this camera solution in the form of Realme 8 Pro. The new mid-range phone will be announced alongside the Realme 8 on March 25 in India. The duo of handsets should be more an incremental upgrade over the Realme 7 series in terms of performance. The real upgrade will be in the details.

The upcoming smartphones have started appearing through multiple certifications lately. Today, the Realme 8 Pro has passed by Indonesia Telecom certification. While the certification does not bring new details regarding the specifications, it does confirm that the phone really is the RMX3081 that has been leaking a lot lately. This particular model passed by USA’s FCC certification recently with a 4,500mAh battery and 65W fast-charging.

Realme 8 series launch date in India and specifications

Realme 8 series launch in India is tipped to happen on March 25th. The company, however, is yet to confirm the launch date. The smartphones are expected to go on sale on Flipkart following the launch.

The Realme 8 Pro is teased to come with an AMOLED display and an in-display fingerprint sensor. There are rumours that the company will launch both 4G and 5G versions of the Reame 8 Pro. As of now, there is no word yet on the chipset powering either the Realme 8 or Realme 8 Pro. The Pro model will get a quad-camera system that includes a 108MP main camera. 

It was tipped a few days ago that the Realme 8 will come with 4GB and 8GB RAM options and 128GB internal storage. The device is also said to come in Cyber Silver and Black colour options. The Realme 8 Pro, on the other hand, will come in 6GB and 8GB RAM options and 128GB internal storage. The phone will be available in Infinite Black/ Blue and Illuminating Yellow colours.
