iQOO Neo 5 India launch is getting closer and closer as the phone has now received BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification with the model number I2012. This was spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma. The BIS certification is essentially the green light for the product to launch in India. This comes after the handset was spotted at the Google Play Console website with key details. It is highly possible the iQOO Neo 5 may debut alongside the iQOO 7 Legend. The handset originally launched in China back in March and comes with a punch-hole display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 870+ SoC, 8GB RAM, 66W fast-charging support and Android 11 OS out of the box.
iQOO India director, Gagan Arora, in an interview, said the iQOO 7 Legend will launch in India by the end of this month and will be priced aggressively. The company has already teased the iQOO 7 Legend price in India will be under Rd 40,000. The iQOO Neo 5 price, on the other hand, is expected to fall under Rs 30,000.
