Realme lately has established itself well in the mid-range segment with its value for money smartphone offerings. That being said, it's numbered lineup has come a long way. Last year, the Chinese manufacturer released the Realme 7 series.

Users hugely applauded the Realme 7 lineup, especially the upper mid-range Realme 7 Pro, which was received well in the market as per market research reports. It came with Snapdragon 720G, an AMOLED display and a capable set of cameras.

Now leaks around the upcoming Realme 8 lineup are popping up at an incredible pace. More recently, a tipster on Twitter gave hints about the launch date and key specs of the much-awaited Realme 8 series.

The top variant, i.e. the Realme 8 Pro, has been spotted on the US FCC listing, helping us with the device's key specs. Apart from this, we have also gathered a lot of information through leaks and rumours. With that in mind, we decided to stack up everything we know so far about the Realme 8 Pro.

Realme 8 series specifications

Only the maxed-out Realme 8 variant, likely the Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 Pro 5G is expected to feature the aforementioned 108MP camera sensor. The vanilla Realme 8 could use the same 64MP/48MP sensor found in other Realme devices. Its remaining quad-camera array will likely consist of an ultra-wide-angle lens, a depth sensor, and a macro lens. However, the Realme 8 Pro could also ship with a telephoto lens. We know that the Realme 8 Pro will feature an AMOLED screen and an in-display fingerprint sensor via a recent teaser by the company.

As far as storage and memory configurations go, the base Realme 8 will get 4/8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Similarly, the Realme 8 Pro will get 6/8GB of RAM and an identical amount of storage. The Realme 8 will be available in two colours, namely Cyber Silver and Cyber Black, while the Realme 8 Pro’s colour options include Infinite Black, Infinite Blue, and Illuminating Yellow.

Moving on to the chipset side of things, the Realme 8 is tipped to run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset and the Realme 8 Pro 4G a Snapdragon 732G. We don’t know which SKU will power the Realme 8 Pro 5G. It will likely be a MediaTek Dimensity-branded model. Lastly, we can expect some, if not all, Realme 8 models to support fast charging at 65W. An FCC listing told us that the Realme 8 Pro would pack a 4,500mAh cell, while TENAA told us that the Realme 8 would be powered by a 5,000mAh unit.
